1. The licence

Prompto is licensed, not sold. It is governed by Apple's standard end user licence agreement:

By installing or using Prompto you accept that agreement. These terms complete it on points specific to the app; where they conflict, Apple's agreement prevails.

2. What the app does

Prompto displays scrolling text over the camera image and records a video. Scripts are stored locally on the device. Videos are saved to the device's photo library. No content is transmitted to the publisher.

You remain solely responsible for the text you write and the videos you produce, and for their compliance with applicable law — copyright, image rights, privacy.

3. Free and Pro

The free version lets you:

• keep up to two scripts;
• film in 1080p, in takes of up to three minutes.

Prompto Pro removes those limits and unlocks:

• unlimited scripts;
• 4K, 60 frames per second and HDR;
• takes of any length;
• every capture setting.

4. Subscription terms

Prompto Pro comes in three forms:

• Monthly — €4.99 per month, renews automatically.
• Yearly — €24.99 per year, renews automatically, preceded by a seven-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Lifetime — €59.99, one payment, no renewal.

Prices are inclusive of tax and may vary by storefront. The price that applies is the one shown by the App Store at the time of purchase.

Payment

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The publisher never receives or stores any payment details.

Renewal

A subscription renews automatically at the current rate unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within the 24 hours before the end of each period.

Cancellation

Manage and cancel from your Apple Account settings: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. The publisher has no control over these operations. A cancelled subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid for; that period is not refunded pro rata.

Free trial

Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you subscribe during that trial. A trial can be used only once per Apple Account and per subscription group.

Refunds

Because purchases are made through Apple, refund requests are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Keeping your scripts safe

Scripts live on your device. Losing them — deleting the app, a failure, a lost phone — does not engage the publisher's liability. The export feature, in the app's settings, exists precisely so you can keep a copy.

6. Availability and changes

The app is provided as is. The publisher may change it, alter its features, or stop distributing it. Should an interruption affect an active subscription, the paid and unused period is refunded.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; failing that, the competent courts are those of the publisher's registered office, subject to the consumer protection rules that apply.
