Privacy Policy
Effective 12 September 2026
In one sentence: your scripts and your videos never leave your phone. The only data that leaves the device concerns your purchase, and it does not identify you by name.
1. Who is responsible
Optivity, a French SAS registered at 12 rue de la Part-Dieu, 69003 Lyon, France (SIREN 902 109 131), is the controller for the processing described here. Contact: paulunemoon@gmail.com.
2. What stays on your phone
None of this is transmitted, read or backed up by the publisher:
- Your scripts — titles and text, stored in a database local to the app.
- Your settings — reading pace, text size, band height, capture settings.
- Your videos — saved to the device's photo library. The app puts them there and does not access them afterwards.
They disappear with the app if you delete it. They may appear in your device's iCloud backups, under your control and Apple's.
3. Permissions the app asks for
- Camera — to show the image and record video during a take. No other use, no image analysis.
- Microphone — to record the sound of the video. No transcription, no speech recognition.
- Add to photo library — to place the finished video in your camera roll. The app does not request permission to read your library.
Each is requested at the moment it is needed, after an explanation, and can be withdrawn at any time in iOS settings.
4. What leaves the device
Only when you buy, restore or use a subscription. Two parties are involved:
Apple
Apple processes the payment and records the transaction against your Apple Account. The publisher never sees your name, your address or your payment details. Apple's processing is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat
RevenueCat Inc. (United States) is the processor that validates purchases with Apple and determines whether your subscription is active. It receives:
- an anonymous installation identifier, randomly generated, tied to no name and no address;
- your purchase history for this app — product bought, dates, subscription state;
- technical information: storefront country, device model, iOS version, app version.
Purpose: to give you access to what you paid for, on all your devices, and to let you restore it. Legal basis: performance of our contract. Transfer outside the EU: covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Retention: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then as required by statutory and accounting limitation periods.
5. What the app does not do
- No analytics, no behavioural tracking.
- No advertising, no ad trackers, no IDFA.
- No selling, no sharing for commercial purposes.
- No account, so no password and no email address collected.
- No access to the content of your scripts or your videos.
6. Your rights
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over data concerning you.
In practice: since there is no account, we cannot find you by name. Include your support identifier with your request — in the app, Settings → About → Support identifier, one tap copies it. It is the only key that links a request to a record.
Write to paulunemoon@gmail.com. We reply within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under thirteen and does not knowingly collect any data concerning them.
8. Changes
This policy may change as the app changes. The date at the top of the page is authoritative. Any change that would widen collection will be announced in the app before it takes effect.
